Piano Tuning and Repair Services
We offer a range of services to fit your needs

Piano Tuning
A one-time service. One of our technicians will come to your piano anywhere in San Diego and fully tune all octaves. If your piano needs repairs, our staff also identify problems.

Piano Repair
Broken strings, sticky keys, or any other issues that prevent your piano from being played to it’s full potential can be repaired. If you’re not sure what’s wrong, we can diagnose the problem.

Pitch Raise
When a piano is severely out of tune, or has not been tuned in a long time, a single piano tuning will not stick. A pitch raise is a 6-tuning package at a discounted rate to get your piano back to right pitch.
Frequently Asked Questions
We charge a flat rate of $250 per piano that needs tuning. Pianos in Ramona, CA will not have a travel fee.
Piano repair costs vary depending on the issue and cost of parts. Simpler repairs can range from $50 – $100, while more extensive repairs (like string or key replacement) will range from $200 – $500. Diagnostic appointments are available, and the technician will give a quote for necessary piano repairs.
We recommend tunings every 6 to 12 months. This can vary based on a few factors:
– How often your piano is played. The more it is played, the quicker it will go out of tune.
– Where your piano is located. If your piano is on an outside wall or poorly insulated inside wall, temperature fluctuations will cause your piano to fall out of tune more quickly.
– How recently it was tuned last. If a piano sits for a long time without being tuned, the strings might have a difficult time holding a tune.
– The condition of your piano. Strings and other hardware that are older or hold more than normal wear and tear might not stay in tune long.
If your piano is old, or hasn’t been tuned in a while, we offer a pitch raise service designed to help older or untouched pianos revert to the right tuning. If appropriate, our technician will recommend a pitch raise and/or repairs to help your piano become a joy to play again.
We ask that you block out a 3-hour window. Tunings can take anywhere from 1-3 hours, depending on the state of your piano.
For pianos in the greater San Diego area outside of Ramona, a travel fee will be charged based on mileage and calculated when you book your tuning.

Quick, efficient, knowledgeable, honest. After tuning our piano, we got a quick breakdown of everything that was done. Our piano had been sitting in the garage for the last 8+ years, so we were even told of some potential issues that could come up in the next couple of weeks.
